Enjoy an evening in the Amon Carter Museum of American Art with Jonathan Frembling, Gentling Curator and Head of Archives at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art, featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres and wine. Experience an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at 140 years of paintings of Texas from Edward Everett’s in the 1840s to the birds of Scott and Stuart Gentling of the 1970s and ’80s. Enjoy a unique way to see Texas history through the images and archives of these artists.

Frembling received a master’s in history from UT–Arlington and has been the archivist, then Gentling Curator, of the museum for twenty-three years.
