our historic Texas cemeteries. Join us to hear Dr. Ken Hafertepe tell
us how professional “Marble Men” brought distinctive stone
monuments to customers in Tarrant County and around the state.
Dr. Hafertepe is an authority on American material culture and
decorative arts, and historic preservation, especially in Texas. His
most recent book, Historic Homes of Waco, Texas, won the Ron Tyler
Award for Best Illustrated Book on Texas History and Culture from
the Texas State Historical Association.
